You may be asked to fill out a health history form -prior to your massage. Your therapist will ask you questions to know if there are certain conditions that you may want addressed. Also, don’t forget to tell your therapist if you are allergic to certain oils or lotions.
You undress to a level that you feel comfortable. However, if it is a full body massage, you may simply leave your underwear on. Your therapist will advise you accordingly. Your therapist will work on the areas with your clothes on as best as she can. You should feel relaxed and comfortable so you can get the optimal result during your massage therapy.
You can chat to your therapist if you like, or you may prefer to sleep – the choice is yours. You simply do whatever makes you feel most relaxed and comfortable.
You will instantly feel relaxed. For a deep massage therapy, you may feel a little bit sore the following day but taking a hot shower will ease this. After your session, don’t forget to increase your water intake by at least two glasses of water– to prevent dehydration.
